Focused training collaborations in the region align to the leading industry clusters of Northeast Wisconsin, concentrating on common career needs in the region, including welding, CNC manufacturing, finance, insurance, engineering, and information technology.

Program Description: The Northeast Wisconsin Educational Resource Alliance (NEWERA) is a collaborative of 7 public higher education institutions, including 4 Technical Colleges, a Tribal College and 2 University of Wisconsin campuses. This 20 year old organization, serving 55,000 students annually was formed to build cohesive, contemporary education and talent solutions benefiting students, employers, and the regional community of Northeast Wisconsin and beyond. One new coordinated program in Engineering Technology provides for program entry at any of the 7 member institutions for programing/degree objectives in electrical, environmental and mechanical engineering; an Applied Associates Degree in Engineering Technology opens to job opportunities or to continuing credits that conclude with a Bachelor’s Degree from UW Oshkosh or UW Green Bay.
